The Digital Dentistry Society celebrates a landmark Congress in Venice: Innovation, AI, and global digital dentistry in focus
From October 16th to 18th, Venice hosted the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS) Global Congress 2025, welcoming over 1000 attendees from 70 countries under the theme “Dentistry between Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality and Robotics.” The three-day event, jointly organized with the International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology (IADMFR), also marked the 10th anniversary of the DDS and showcased the latest digital innovations transforming modern dental practice.

Speakers from academia and industry presented cutting-edge applications in 3D imaging, AI-guided implantology, 3D printing, and digital workflows. Attendees enjoyed live demonstrations, poster sessions, and a vibrant exhibitors’ area featuring more than 30 globally active companies — all within the magnificent setting of the iconic Palazzo del Cinema on the picturesque and tranquil Lido island, facing Venice’s historic center.

Among the highlights, the DDS Certification Program and the new Digital Dentistry Journal were officially introduced, reinforcing the Society’s commitment to scientific quality and clinical excellence in an ever-evolving landscape of digital transformation.
Companies exhibiting at the Congress particularly appreciated the exclusive venue, the pleasant networking moments and the interactions with doctors from all over the world who are eager to explore digital innovations. Visitors were impressed by the quality and the format of the lectures, which had the goal to highlight interesting clinical applications, showing new paths and solutions applicable in the everyday practice.
